It looks like tyjokr's been inactive for some months now and I hope that everything's okay. I haven't done any modding for The Sims 4 before now, but I really love this mod and can't imagine playing without it so I made a simple hotfix that's compatible with the current version of the game and thought I'd share it here for anyone who might be missing it. It seems like only the custom whimsets were broken by the patch (which would cause the game to throw LE's when trying to roll wants for sims with those traits and cause this glitch with motives ). I don't know how to update whimsets for the "Wants and Fears" system and I couldn't find a tutorial on it so I just removed them.

So here's a version of tyjokr's mod with the outdated whimsets removed. Sims with the Irresponsible and Insensitive traits will no longer roll the custom whims but everything else seems to be working just fine.
